Some door-to-door sales representatives have been visiting homes and claiming there is an issue with the homeowner’s solar system. In some cases, these individuals have incorrectly stated that they are working with Cape Fear Energy Systems (formerly Cape Fear Solar Systems), the homeowner's utility company, or with the system’s manufacturer.
Please know that Cape Fear Energy Systems does not conduct unsolicited door-to-door service visits. If our team ever needs to contact you regarding your system, we will reach out directly through our official communication channels.
Allowing an unauthorized company to inspect, modify, or service your system could void your workmanship warranty and potentially the manufacturer’s warranty. For that reason, we strongly recommend contacting us first if anyone approaches you about your solar system.
